I resorted to searching the internet to find a “Wicked 20th Anniversary” ornament after returning home from our trip to NYC and realizing the employee at the show had sent me home with a coffee mug instead of the ornament I asked for (even after he showed us 2 to choose from) Heartbroken because this was a very special trip for my 21yr old daughter and I, our first ever Broadway show, and I have no idea if I will ever get to go to New York again, I tried to buy one from the official site, but they were sold out. Secondary market was no help and while there were plenty of regular ornaments, I wanted one with the 20th anniversary on it. When I found this one online, the photo representation was clear and looked fantastic, and hopefully worth the money being charged since it was as much as the real deal at the show. What I received is a ceramic disc with what looks like a poor job of using transfer paper and an ink jet printer to apply the image. The image is blurry or fuzzy, like it’s not in focus, and the medium used to seal it ( possibly acrylic spray) has a couple spots that look like air bubbles … I have not had a chance to even follow up with the makers, and need to find the site I first found it on. Hopefully I can get a refund and try to find something else that has the quality to pass as a reasonable substitute for the original ornament and would honor such a special memory.
